The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Hello PM Sir. Today i'd be talking on "Smoking". I've shifted in Gurgaon just 4-5 months ago, and this is foremost (and now becomes common for me) to see a person, whether educated or illiterate, smoking a Cigarette or The Cheap one BD or Hukka in Case of Haryana. According to me, 80% of the people living in NCR region smoke more than 5 times in a day. Including some of my friends also. Is there any solution to this desperate problem ?? I request you to plz take a look at Haryana Region

Namastey! I'm an 18 year old first year student from Delhi University. I want to be a part of the Make in India program, therefore I'd like to propose a business plan for the country. The plan involves in inviting the Chinese to our country, help them settle here which helps us get their technology and we, as a country will create more employment opportunities. The vision is not getting their product from China, it simply is getting the same created in our country. We want the gov to help us
