The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources. India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica. Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower. Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Dear Modiji, I would like to discuss on Make in India topic. As to start small company here for local people is so difficult, I really want to like to know how this dream would be fulfilled? Just need to send one person to Borivali BMC ward to open an proprietor company and just get your answer. It is full of corruption, to start small proprietary company charges is for one year is very nominal. But the person seats over there demand to process your request 3 to 5000 Rs. !!!

Indians living abroad are willing to come here but I have only one question. Why should they come at a place with minimal facilities, no R&D culture(apart from private sector)? In other countries like UK, Australia etc. there are government formed organisations who have government funded(no clue about private projects) projects with world research facilities. Sir, Skilled Indians don't want to go abroad. We need to allow Manufacturing sector to grow so that GDP, R&D sector can rise.

Sir, I would like to bring to your kind notice that improvements in things like keeping work area clean and organized in Govt offices. I would like to share my findings and the remedy for the observations that i made to improve the effeciency of the employees which i came across in post offices. I am still not used to this website... I wanted to leave a suggestion for Expenditure Management commission...but could not find a place to do that.... so I am using this skill development group to post the message: One big expense of Govt happens on Inter-department, employees vs govt, general public vs govt Litigation in Courts...there are thousands and thousands, perhaps lacks of cases in various courts in the country. Data on this may surprise all. Good Governance can reduce this..

dear modi ji, we hear daily bad situation that happening in our nation about women ,they are suffering because of misuse of internet so many youths are spending time in seeing pornography which will effect directly on our culture,so that it should be banned in the internet (in our country),by this we can achieve women security.
