The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

1) Skill development in Mining is already highly regulated , please scrap all the exams like first class, 2nd class, mining sirdar etc. all these exams get cleared by paying bribes so no use of exams. let make mining similar to architecture an market driven skill development rather than regulated. 2) only people from poor background will work in mining jobs as it does not inspire young generation, so let make it more remunerative and select people from tribal areas and train them.

As required to make the city & country clean we should have dust bins at favourable distances where in people could use it. At many places near train station or bus station or market place there are very few. As the awareness is spreading through media & having sufficient dust bins surely would be of great help & make cleanliness drive more quicker.

PROJECT OF GANGA, YAMUNA Honorable sir, the project of Ganga, Yamuna and other rivers cleaning and beautification is great and I am sure it will happen in reality in the near future under your dynamic leadership. In the past lot of money has gone down the drain in these ventures as wasteful expenditures. This will promote tourism and help irrigation and improve environment.
