वर्ष 2015-16 के दौरान घरेलू मांग को पूरा करने के लिए भारत ने आयात पर 4.82 लाख करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए। आयात का बोझ कम करने के लिए और बेहतर पर्यावरण के लिए, जनता को सप्ताह में एक दिन पेट्रोल/डीजल का इस्तेमाल न करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित/प्रेरित करने का प्रस्ताव है।

हमारे माननीय प्रधान मंत्री ने सभी नागरिकों से सप्ताह में एक दिन के लिए पेट्रोल / डीजल के इस्तेमाल से बचने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि अगर 125 करोड़ भारतीयों ने ऐसा करने की प्रतिज्ञा की, तो 'न्यू इंडिया' का सपना हासिल किया जा सकता है।

हर हफ्ते एक दिन के लिए, जनता को पेट्रोल/डीजल का इस्तेमाल न करने के लिए, त्साहित/प्रेरित करने के तरीकों का सुझाव देने के लिए आप सब आमंत्रित हैं।

सुझाव देने की आखरी तारीख 8 अप्रैल, 2017, दोपहर 12 बजे तक है|

We should make people to use public vehicle by giving suitable prizes for the people who uses public transport by booking their ticket through online. By this way government transport also gets more profit and by the time we can make people use of online transaction (digital india) can also be achieved. And the people also voluntarily book ticket through online to get prize..

Sir, as said by many...we do have many small small cities in India... the biggest advantage of these cities are shorter transit from workplace to home ... so It would be good if we do encourage & educate the youth employed in corporate sectors ...no matter what the position they hold ... to use Bi-cycles... so they in turn will motivate the rural communities to follow ...Let's save the petrol / Diesel...plant as many trees as we can... to make our India...free from pollution or any diseases....

A wide footpath lined with aesthetically designed small kiosks vending various items will encourage people to walk. Also the presence of shops will ensure safety to women and children. This will at least deter people taking out their vehicles to shop within their locality and they will be encouraged to take a walk instead.

Fuel saved environment saved.We have to think & act seriously for future generations. 1.Use bicycle once in a week/if the work place is within reach go by walk 2. Much depending on other countries for fulfilling need of fuel,money saved 3.Vehicle addiction is becoming an ailment,we lack exercise 4.Pollution control effectively observed 5.Change the psychology of having car/bike as a status symbol 6.No space is sufficient to accommodate large no.of vehicles on roads/ for parking
