1.Petrol and diesel in today's world as stated by the Government of India has spent crores on it. 2.Not using their vehicles for a day will help control pollution in India. 3. It will also help reduce the traffic on the roads. 4.Consumption of petrol and diesel will also reduce which will help the Government to minimize the cost. 5. government should introduce fuel cards. The scheme should be the fuel would be cheaper if using fuel card than using cash, less fuel you use more it will be cheaper this could be done automatically decided by transactions made on fuel card. so less fuel purchased lesser price will be charged. Government should also reward with prizes least petrol user citizens. Do advertise, ralies, speeches as much as you can. Make gas kit for all vehicles cheap as chips. Build bicycle tracks on road

I live in aligarh city,U.P. where there is bus service for inter state travel but no within the state transport facility is there. Auto rickshaw's overcrowded therefore no other option felt. I study in Aligarh Muslim University which is 8 km away from my home.there is a need of within the city bus transport facility like the system which prevals in Delhi.i would love to travel by bus if this happen in some 5-10 years. great Initiative :)

This is a very good initiative taken by our Hon'ble Prime Minister,I appreciate it whole-heartedly. It will not just reduce the excessive imports to meet the domestic demand, it'll also help in reducing pollution. Moreover, i suggest people of our country to prefer travelling by public transport instead of private transport. In doing so, ytaffic jams can be reduced, city pollution will come down & use of petrol or diesel will also get reduced..

government should also introduce an app where public can find someone who goes to same destination everyday work, home, etc, and share one vehicle for multiple people going to the same destination, passengers pay to owner of vehicle similar to what they pay for their own fuel, this will make driver earn little bit extra he will get free petrol for his own vehicle and it will make people reduce using their vehicles and fuel and also it will be cheaper for public too.
