Distance education is a solution. No child can come to school without parents allowing them to attend school. One way of tackling this problem is by giving money to parents if their kids go to school. For example,If a child attends 90% of the classes in a year, the family gets a sum of say 10k. This way even rural people will send their kids to school. Improvising, a child that scores more than 90% gets an additional sum of say 5k. In this way it's a win-win situation for the everyone....

At all levels our education is almost totally theoretical and encourages cramming instead of understanding the subject.More and more thrust should be on practical development of subjects through practical demonstrations. The curriculum has to be developed afresh and teachers have to be taught first. Imparting knowledge should be taken very seriously and merely passing the exams and getting degrees. Practical education is being obsolete even in engineering colleges. IMMEDIATE ATTENTION ESSENTIAL

Although we have achieved universalisation in school enrolment at elementary levels, the quality of education is not upto the mark. MODELS,CHARTS, GLOBES AND PROJECTORS should be used to the fullest.Labs need to be upgraded with new devices.Team projects should be promoted.MIND MAPS making should be taught as it is a scientifically proven method. CREATIVITY to be given maximum thrust.

New technologies can help in many ways : Who remembers history taught in 6th ,7th class ? I certainly do not because in am born in technical age where i am surrounded with Mobiles, internet, computer games How can i focus on boring history, civics. But according to me there can be a solution if the learning method can be changed from the root Example History chapters can be formed into cool graphicsl computer games in which a character of history like bhagat singh is played by us

It is not about passing in examinations but to develope a clear understanding of basic science& mathematical concepts through demonstrations and experiments, which can makethesetopics interesting and will create interest in young minds. At school level all schools shall have laborataries as per a standard set by education department. 2) Teachers shall have regulartraining to teach the students . 3) Regular evaluation of teachers and imparting training asper their needs.4) Good pay for teachers

Schools should have autonomy to design the curriculum and prepare students towards a common end-of-school exam. This freedom will allow teachers to innovate lessons, integrate, subjects and move at a realistic pace. Trusting the teachers judgement is important as they are the ones who interact with the children and can guage the needs of the students.

Stop rote learning, focus on learning concepts. Maths can be introduced through puzzles and practical problems at a young age - math games. Giving students lots of problems to solve is pointless as they rote learn. Science requires free questioning plus experimentation from a young age - this will spark a love for science, if this continues into HE students will become great scientists.
