More number of Technical/Vocational Branches (equivalent of ITI) at Schools are to be introduced; these may be for 4 years duration (after 5 or 6 years of basic/elementary school education) to acquire skills in a particular trade like electrician, plumber, machinist, carpenter, mobile-repairer, agriculture-expert, solar-energy-expert, water-treatment-expert, packaging-expert, etc. They should be in a position to join industry. Later, they should have provision to join higher studies.

Most of the manpower like electricians, machinists, etc do not have required skills because of no formal education from ITI. But India needs more skilled-manpower to enhance the manufacturing base. Hence, many existing Colleges (which have lot of vacancies) can be converted into ITI. We need stable-pyramid (more-ITI, lesser-Polytechnics, very-few-colleges) and not inverted-unstable-pyramid.

Hands on methodology should be adopted. Theory learnt in class should be converted into live models. Students should be encouraged through incentive credits for making models of specific scientific principles. Credits earned by students should be carry forwarded. If policy and law permits, credits from secondary and higher secondary level should be converted to cash incentives in higher degree education.

There has be equal importance given on soft skills like communication, presentation, public speaking. In India, majority of people lack these skills. This needs to start from primary education and should continue up to all the classes. These should be part of main curriculum not just as extra curricular.

I personally believe that there are some incredible teachers in India who are still doing amazing work in their classrooms. Identify them and get them to create online videos in their subject matter- as they interact with their classes and lesser talented teachers in other areas can make use of those instructional videos and then supplement further to their students. Slowly, over time, exposure to better teaching styles will improve the low-performing teacher too teaching them how to engage

Let us control "business in the name of education" Dance classes, cricket clubs, tennis clubs, dance acedmies and many more.Let the school be a school nit a business house. There should be a teacher not acedmy for each activitiy.Parents are unable to focus on childs health and personal touch due to such activities to be funded by Parents only.Plese help them or else children will forget Parents to to overburdened/overexpensive business activities.
