There are too many questions in mind but which will be mostly answered as it is fault of previous government and which I agree. So we need to rejuvenate the education in India. We must: 1) Improve and empower government schooling 2) Strict regulations for the private institutes 3) Promote schooling in native languages 4) Reduce the unwarranted emphasize on English.... 5) Stop business of education and make education our business.

Is it a conspiracy to keep the costs ridiculously high? If not, what can be done to address the issue? How can we curb the costs to bring it in common man's reach? I feel pity and aghast for the parents and children both when I hear the school fees in urban private schools. For nursery and KG which does not even qualify as education on records the fees ranges from 25000 to 2 lacs. That's ridiculous, disgusting and what not.

I have mentioned this in my some of previous posts. We need better regulation and control over private education institutes. The very first thing we need to do is to get these private education mafias under scanner. Education is a basic right of people. However if we see today, it has become business of its own kind. Higher education is hardly in the means for poor and even lower middle class. Even in USA, the situation of higher education is not that different.

The regulatory body should closely monitor the deficiencies of the Private Institution,Otherwise the autocratic policy of Institution is dangerous for all the stake holders.The institutions are not appointing qualified faculty because they ask for more salary.The low quality teacher are delivering rubbish to the students. These students when do not know anything thus are not accepted by the Industry so they remain jobless.The AICTE approval process has been diluted which needs revival.

The Role of AICTE is not clear. The private Institutions are charging high fees from the students and not providing the essential facilities as even drinking water. We talk about social equality but if majority of Educational Institute are not having any provisions for physically challenged students.No ramps no lifts for them for even moving to class room and library thinking of having movement for them till toilets. The institutes are freely getting approval every year.No regulations.Think on

Competitive board and other results are out. Students are now struggling, confused in choosing the stream. They need proper counselling so that they can choose stream of their choice. Students also have no idea about scholarships which are awarded on merit basis. There should be the system of ACADEMIC AUDIT. It has been seen that teachers after getting appointment are not sincere in taking classes as per number of assigned classes per week. Either they skip classes or say to the students to read on there own in the name of other essential reasons.Especially senior teachers show the fearness of any action if they raise their voice against it.Like financial audit a teacher should meet the target of classes verified with students's note book and register.

Selling fake degrees and educational certificates be made a punishable offense with jail for 10 years or more. FIR must be lodged against the offenders under present laws. In some cases , the beneficiaries collude with the offenders but in many cases they simply get cheated.

Every year UGC and other regulatory bodies notify list of fake boards and universities. In spite of this, such Institutions keep on selling their diploma/ degrees and other testimonials to the the public charging hefty amounts and cheating. every year some new fake boards are added in different name to avoid detection. Some of them have obtained stay from lower courts. Why can't Central Government bring a comprehensive legislation to stop this menace.

Sir, there is no regulations for the mode of appointments of teaching staffs in professional colleges. number of full time teaching faculties required ? number of part time/ hourly basis staff can be appointed? is it possible to appoint assistant professors on hourly basis/part time? what should be the pay given to such faculties? How many hours in a week they should be engaged ? Also there should surprise inspections in the colleges for ensuring all.
