MAKE RENT TRANSFER TO BANK MANDATORY: 90% of tenants are being forced today by their landlords to give rent in the form of cash. The landlords are doing this to evade tax. The tenants are willing to do direct bank transfer but the landlords are not accepting and rather blackmailing that if they do not want to pay in cash, they will have to leave the premise. The tenants are in a fix. Government should step in to resolve this.
