The Government of India issued guidelines for the promotion of payments through cards and digital means on 29th February, 2016. The guidelines can be seen (here). A Committee was also constituted under the Chairmanship of Shri Ratan P Watal, Principal Advisor, NITI Ayog and Former Finance Secretary with key industry stakeholders, RBI and concerned Government Departments to review medium term measures necessary to promote the digital payment system in the Country. The Committee’s report can be seen here.

The Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India invites public Comments / suggestions on the report. We invite you to read the report and provide your valuable feedback and suggestions by 11th January 2017. The final decision on the Report will be taken after considering the comments/suggestions received on the Report.

Dear Sir, In continuation of demonetization, we are discouraging cash transaction and trying to develop new tools to encourage it like tranasaction with Aadhar Card, Bhim app etc. But we have to look on our ATM also who are main source of cash and banks open new ATMs day by day. Sir, my suggestion is- we have to use these ATMs for other banking services rather than only cash handling. If we can succeed to control over it, it will great help and people with more tends to digitization.

This is for railways : KINDLY AUDIT ALL LONG DISTANCE TRAINS OF MORETHAN 1000 KM., IAM SURE NONE OF THEM ARE HAVE 75% OCCUPANCY. WHAT IS MOSTLY REQUIRED IS EXPRESS / SUPERFAST TRAINS FOR SHORT DISTANCES (UPTO 250 KM) AND MORE TRAINS FOR OVERNIGHT JOURNEY ROUTES. MAY BE WITH LESSER NO. OF COACHES FOR GOOD SPEED. PLEASE EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITY . ALSO ALL EXPRESS TRAINS SHOULD HAVE ON BOARD CLEANING STAFF , SPECIALLY FOR TOILETS WITH A CALLING BELL KIND OF ALERT FROM ANY TOILET.

Dear Sirs.. I would like to draw your attention about following... 1. Until recently Indian Railway charging Rs.10 plus Service Tax for Transaction Charge. 2. Still most of online Apps and travel sites charges connivance Fees [Eg. Makemytrip.com, Cleartrip.com] 3. Banks still charge transaction charges for online IMPS Payments. 4. Still Some Bank charges a fixed rent for POS Machine on monthly and state of Gujarat do collect even VAT on such Rent. My suggestion is to do away with such.

This is about pensioners : husband is pensioner, wife is dependant. suppose husband dies first, wife gets only half pension. suppose wife dies first, husband still gets full pension. This discrimination shall be rectified. Even the dependant wife to be given full pension after the death of husband.

Sir you are promoting cash less payment.....but how it will be possible ? if Banks will charge 2.5% service charges (min Rs.10), why should we pay 2.5% service charges? it is better that we pay cash it is beneficiary for us. i support cash less payment but i have suggestion for you ask banks not charge service charges if you really want to promote cash less payment.........

Digital payment indeed is a easier way but only when it is executed in the right manner. People should be taught the way by which their online transactions can be made easier. Government should seriously look upon their websites where the payments seems to be delayed because of no reason(be it IRCTC or KVS). The transaction charges are also a serious issue in this regard and it should be minimized and government(and related agencies) should also look upon the failed online transactions.#MyGov
