Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has said India’s G20 agenda will be inclusive, ambitious, action-oriented, and decisive, establishing a presidency of healing, harmony, and hope.

Automation and ground-breaking technological advancements are fundamentally changing the nature of work in more than one way. Trends such as demographic transitions and technological changes such as Industry 4.0, Web 3.0, and extended reality technology bring immense possibilities that will forever change lives. This would imply significant workplace transformations and changes in the future of work that would be beyond human imagination. And to thrive in this new ‘World of Work,’ it is vital that skilling stakeholders comprehend these new trends and capacitate the existing education and skilling ecosystems.

Therefore, basis the announcements made in the ongoing discussions in the G20 Education Working Group 2023, the key takeaways about the future of the work are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:

• The G20 Education Working Group has deliberated on pathways to make technology-enabled learning more inclusive, qualitative, and collaborative at every level.
• With the rise of automation across industries, it is imperative to mainstream foundational skills into the curriculum framework and facilitate dynamic learning over the life cycle to not only effectively measure the learning outcomes but also ensure people keep pace with the current factors of change. Education stakeholders must collaborate and focus on strengthening the foundational learning framework by leveraging technology and blended learning to ensure that students are equipped with the necessities for the future.
• The future of work is driven by the rising awareness of decarbonization and building a sustainable business, and the G20 countries recognise the importance of collective action in tackling environmental challenges as well as promoting transitions towards more flexible, transparent, and cleaner energy systems.

In Srivilliputtur near Madurai there is a 224th descendant of Periazhwar's family worshipping the same deities continuously for 5000 years. Certainly culture is preserved and must be nationally protected place. There must many such places all over the country ---these need to be protected nationally and highlighted at airports ,railway stations and bus stops---as these set long lasting knowledge enhancing our people's capabilities like no where else in the world. Time concept in Indian Traditional Knowledge system is not just limited to relative motions of bodies as in modern science--which concept is questioned by Einstein's theory and quantum mechanics.IKS has the idea of phenomenal time which can be explained by persons like Dr Ravi Gomatam Director of InSIST at www.insist.ac.in

the back bone skilling and the need for skilling other than the usual tech driven skilling is a necessity . we are missing out on out advantage of large numbers on human resource as skilling should be for social, and capital needs. we have a population which in the next 10 t 20 years, come to an age where the joint family system would have collapsed and the need to take care of this population will be huge. there is no defined infra or thought given on how to develop, people with social skills to take care of the senior citizens . medical will be just a small percentage as the standard of living is increasing and people will average and above average health, will require younger people who understand social skills, so that the population who is feeling Indias growth now can be taken care once they retire. like technology , and innovation is leading our growth engine currently, the future of India , is in taking care of the social aspects of India.

Honourable Shri Narendra Modi Ji, I strongly feel all Indian private and public schools from nursery to higher classes should include YOGA (with meditation) as the mandatory 45-50 mins session in their curriculum. We haven’t seen the physical fitness to be included in private school free of cost in daily activities. We have to either opt for extra classes and spend extra hours and money to opt for the fitness class in children’s daily routine. YOGA as a part of school curriculum from early age would become a part of every individuals life and definitely help in their future. Thanks, Priyanka
