The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

The government has proposed to further simplify rules for drone operators, reducing the number of permissions and security clearances required to operate the aerial vehicles. The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Thursday released the Draft Drone Rules 2021, open for public consultation until August 5. The rules will replace the Un­man­ned Aircraft System Rules, 2021, which came into effect in March.

The current draft is a welcome move and will go a long way in facilitating investments in drone technology in India. This is particularly interesting due to the fact that in spite of the recent security threat, the government went ahead and took cognizance of the feedback given by the stakeholders and pushed through this simplified legislation. This simplifies the process of registration and brings to the forefront concept light touch monitoring.

സർ. നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തെ 90% ജനങ്ങളും ജീവിത ശയിലി രോഗങ്ങളാലും മറ്റു രോഗങ്ങളാലും വിവിധ തരം മരുന്നുകൾ കഴിക്കുന്നവരാണല്ലോ എന്നാൽ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തെ അലോപ്പതി മരുന്നുകൾക്ക് മരുന്നു കമ്പനികൾ വില നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നത് അമിതമായലാഭപ്രതീക്ഷയോടെ യാതൊരു മാനധൻടങ്ങളും പരിഗണിക്കാതെ ആണ് ഇതിനു അറുതി വരുത്തുവാൻ സർക്കാർ എല്ലാ മരുന്നുകൾക്കും തറവില നിശ്ചയിക്കേണ്ടതും ജനങ്ങളെ മരുന്നു ലോബികളിൽ നിന്നും ഡോക്റ്റര്മാരുടെ ചൂഷണങ്ങളിൽ രക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ നടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടതാണ് ജയ്‌ ഭാരത് ജയ്‌ മോദിജി.

Some of the suggestions are:- 1.One important thing should be taken into consideration that ,It should not be used for any mischief or illegal activities,Strict Provisions & rules should be made. 2.Another thing without permission of authority drone shot of public places should not be allowed. 3.Licence for use may be adopted for better control.

I think we hv to make drones more certified n their shld be some kinda allocation numbers given to drones n their owners,,we shldn't prohibit use of drones coz it's technology is upgrading so n we shld work on make in india drones so there ll be no need of worry as we can,put some radio active signals some kind of thing's

drone companies compulsory have barcode/ QR code like structure on their top & bottom which is linked to persons mobile number & indirectly to Aadhar. so that if any regulating authority wants to know whose drone it is or is it a legal one, they can send their drone and get all the data like drone owner, spects, registration etc like vehicles, by just scanning it by regulation authority drone. There should be a separate department in the police for drones like vehicles have traffic wing.
