The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

this tech has pros n cons.but seeing the world n this pandemic..I would suggest to use these in medical ,hospital industry to carry out the delivery,information to villages.the control center should be at level of panchayat n DM at district level.this will bring motivation in rural areas.Now in def,also it may be used in constructive med air delivery/ infomatics.the control should be with the med echelon,trained in infotech.

Sir, india can use judiciously drone services but not blindly. As we r prone to both internal & external terrorism so we must safeguard ourselves while preparing draft on drone rules unless more episodes like dropping of bombs would happen as it happened at Af stn Jammu where I used to do gaurding as an air warrior in QRT team. still intelligence agencies r carrying out investigation to nab the culprits. India can not allow everyone to have drone for personal uses as India's security is foremost

civil + criminal liability ! trespassing, defamation privacy , accidents, death 3rd party liability should be well defined , both govt & private players liable . should not take shelter on any clauses including nature ! rules for compensation well defined & settled within max 6 months . deposit/bank guarantees insurance mandatory !

The government should creat a unique drone id for every drone and then there should be three types of areas 1.red area :- completely restricted 2:- yellow area:- permit is required to fly in this area by local police 3:- grean area:- every registered drone can fly without any special permit The main focus of the government should be to create a green area by the view of a tourist The yellow areas are specifically for the new startups. Like drone delivery start ups

Drone preparation and use must be restricted to the security purposes, if Govt want to make it wide open then they should continuesly keep checking of it's use also strict procedure should follow to obtain license if anything unwanted or against nation is noticed then give them imprisonment of lifetime.

1 There should be Properly Rule related to the use of the Drone and Area to be used 2 There should the Controller if using Advanced Drone that in the Controller must scanner or chip should be there from the comy to be fix 3 There should be Limit to be set till limit is allowed to be drone to fly 4 There should not be any Harm to people, Property,or any Animal. 5 The In the most Advanced Drone there should be a chip which will be security zone if gone directly signal cancel and can not fly
