Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

can be clean city to become a smart city my suggestion is that on each road there should be a dustbin side by a road .whashroom should be maked on side of each and every road. Each road should be clean and a colony also ne clean. It can be a wifi city. Smart city Allahabad 1.Footpath encroachment should be removed immediately ,for better look,smooth trafic and pediatrician safety. 2. There are basically two places of tourist interest in Alld ,Ananad bhawan and Sangam but unfortunately both are in bad shape ,it should be presented like Taj mahal and agra fort.

It would be great if start from the setting up *drainage system *water pipeline system because for this roads always are dug up and left without repair or sometimes with temporary patch work. Why special emphasis is to be given to drainage system is because as an when it rains in Allahabad,the water gets logged and whole city gets flooded in no time. So Agenda should be get the best Architect&Designers to first design the Sewage System and water supply & water supply system constructed.
