The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in collaboration with MyGov is organising this discussion to invite participants to share their journeys towards reducing plastic waste and contributions in reducing plastic pollution. Participants are encouraged to discuss their challenges, successful actions, and alternatives they have adopted in their daily lives to beat plastic pollution.

They often struggle with waste not being separated correctly on the conveyer belt. Given that AI learns from patterns in data, we can use it for detecting different types of waste and plastic to help overcome inefficiencies in manual sorting.

I have started carrying a cloth bag for shopping, using a steel water bottle, and encouraging my family to avoid single-use plastics. I also reuse plastic containers creatively and participate in school clean-up drives. Together, we can protect our planet—one small change at a time! ♻️🌍

We are all TEACHERS , attended a training last month. In lunch, we are all take own steel or natural eco plates to eat and also take steel cups for tea here r pics OUR PLATES - OUR HEALTH-OUR ENVIRONMENT

In every function, I am using a steel plate or natural leaf plate. I will take my own steel plate or natural leaf plate when i am going to any function MY PLATE - MY LIFE

A lot of the plastic waste ends up in bodies of water, such as rivers and oceans. High-resolution satellite imagery and drones equipped with AI can track, quantify, and categorize plastic waste in various environments
