Respected Sir,
request you to consider extending the special subsidy under the PM Kusum-B scheme to Grama Panchayat drinking water pumps.
The PM Kusum scheme has been instrumental in promoting sustainable green energy for farmers through solar pump installations, with a subsidy of nearly 80%. However, our Grama Panchayat is facing significant challenges in managing electricity bills for drinking water supply, which is a fundamental facility provided by us. The high tariffs for drinking water pumps compared to domestic tariffs are a substantial burden on our finances.
Extending the PM Kusum subsidy to Grama Panchayat drinking water solar pumps would enable us to install more solar pumps, reducing our electricity bills and strengthening our economic stability. This would be a revolutionary step towards sustainable development and self-sufficiency for our local self-administration.

Please encourage distributed solar and India could have achieved 50 to 100 GW capacity and no regulation of the grid frequency and peak demand with storage with negotiated GW capacity . All manufacturing set up India is 100% dependent on China and cannot produce solar modules without polysilicon making technology or equipment used for making solar inputs like ingots , wafers , cells and modules . The employment generation in distributed solar is more than 3 lakh jobs as solar energy or harvesting is same through out India and there is no need for solar Giga watt parks nor ISTS lines and loosing more than 50 % energy generated in step up, transmission , step down and network capacities or transformer capacities being added as consumption in last mile increases . The solar modules and its components are scalable and multiple and reduces the load on existing infrastructure . Giga watt consumers like Google data centre with GPU being connected directly as solar parks in AP available.

The solar energy can be promoted to 50 GW in the year 2026-27 with distributed solar in GW being installed with energy consumption of consumer being the PV capacity allowed . No subsidy is required and the current imported cost of solar modules along with storage batteries and other components also being imported or purchase from local being the choice of the last mile home consumer like domestic consumers , apartments , townships , gated communities , agriculture and EV charging stations keeping in view of EV and charging in the night . The import allowed with zero Customs duty and GST if imported along with zero GST on components purchased in India and without purchase from ALMM and interest on capital having cascading effect for 35 years life span . The Customs duty and GST collected with ROI and interest cost on solar manufactures increasing the capital cost of investment by three times . India has not got the HPQ raw material or polysilicon. The LCOE cost being less than a rupee.

Suggestion: Treat Crypto as a Severe Economic Threat
Cryptocurrencies pose a direct threat to India’s financial stability and sovereignty. They weaken RBI’s control over money supply, enable large-scale money laundering, terror financing, tax evasion, and allow uncontrolled cross-border capital flight. Crypto markets are highly volatile, opaque, and easily manipulated, leading to massive retail wealth destruction. With no intrinsic value, no sovereign backing, and no investor protection, crypto failures can trigger broader financial contagion. Speculation diverts capital from productive sectors and creates long-term economic fragility.
Crypto must be discouraged, not legitimized.
Suggested deterrent taxation: • 50% flat capital gains tax
• 30% additional cess
• 30% flat TDS on gains
High taxation is essential to protect citizens, financial stability, and national economic security.

I would like to suggest that the Union Budget 2026–27 provide relief for individuals burdened with personal loans and genuine family obligations, including clearer tax exemptions, simplified compliance, and bank pedhinama scrubbing or regularisation for transactions up to ₹2 lakh related to legal heir payments. A limited exemption for foreign income up to a defined threshold may also be considered to encourage reinvestment in interest-based and development-focused avenues that support growth. Additionally, educational benefits should be extended to single daughters from families marginally above the BPL limit, starting from nursery level in non-metro states, where a dependent family member has 60% or more certified disability, to promote inclusive education and social equity.
