We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. As we know that we worked very hard in our previous attempt however unfortunately we missed coming in the first 20 list of cities and finished at 39th rank - missing by just 3 points. Let us take this as a positive feedback that we were very close to winning it and were far ahead of many other big cities.

Looking ahead, we need to work on the gaps identified by Govt. of India to revamp the proposal. One of the key weaknesses identified is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat) analysis. Here, specifically, Weakness and Threat needs to be more elaborate. We have uploaded a discussion page on mygov portal about this aspect of proposal and need support of people of Pasighat to come up in big numbers and contribute towards this discussion. Let’s brace up for this challenge and work with renewed and reinvigorated spirit in the direction of making Pasighat a smart city.

Everyone told their point of view I agree with all as par me Pasighat having the good education and good skill people and also provide the opportunity to the people. Pasighat has developed in information technology field most of the Pasighat working on abroad by this Pasighat still having the good education system some institution providing the placement for their students. Say for example who introduced the software if you ask to somebody they will tell foreigners.

There is no proper electricity facility in pasighat which is a major problem for the student of pasighat because they can’t study at the evening or high time, they can only hope for the day time. There should be solid aware of throwing the waste and garbage in the drains or river. If they can’t provide electricity they should think of constructing a hydel power in the need of the people of pasigaht, there should be good communication services and many more.

For developing smart city, government land should be evacuate first. Here and there you will find people have constructed house. Will the administration do that. I don't think so. All these people are having power in government. They can only evacuate poor people. I have not seen a single building being dismantled.

Institutions also having the goal to get good rank, so they concentrate in theoretical studies and also they will boost up their mark, etc. Apart from this peoples are there, who is very talented, high skilled person they are like to go to spread their skills in luxurious country. We can't blame them, because when any innovative idea or anything given by person, we won't accept it, will see the cost or possibilities, etc. So they prefer to move into acceptable country.

There is a shortage of skilled manpower in Pasighat. I agree with this. The way of teaching here is only based on theoretical, without doing practically we can't understand anything. For e.g a person who got 1st rank in undergraduate and after some days if you ask him/her anything generally related to their studies, they can't able to explain it, they might forget those thing (due to lack of experimental studies).

The main activities of human being is to search out for necessity item like foods, shelter and cloths. Hence, in search of necessity item each and every human will be rust towards market place. Therefore, market place inpasighat is the main areas. where every seconds different people moves “ In’’ and “out’’ for the purpose of buying and selling of goods and services.
