Through public - private partnership, industrial waste treatment plants can be set up so that industrial waste isn't directly dumped into the river. As the government also funds part of the project, the industries wouldn't face the entire burden of construction and would be encouraged and motivated to do so. If the industries still do not comply with the rules, then they must be fined a some percentage of the income they get from the products they produced, which forced them to dump waste in it

Ban groundwater drinking in these regions – we need to save our children from mental disorders in these zones and keep our generations intelligent

Promote Lakes in and around cities of India to makeup for the surface area that is being eaten up by rapid real estate development in cities. 16. Promotes Lakes and wells in villages. 17. 8. For new cities and houses 2 separate lines for drinking water and greywater – this will enable very fast and easy implementation of recycle and reuse opportunities. We need to reach a stage where only 9. For cities and apartments charge for water use by meter just like electricity. Creates consciousness to save water . 10. 100% rainwater harvesting for all new houses and apartments constructed. Old one’s should be given a timeframe to introduce this

6. All sewage treatments plans to be run by private organizations with target to deliver in water quality parameters . Output quality of these sewage treatment plants to be linked together into a computer network to create an IT infrastructure along the Indian rivers 7. 100 % power backup at all sewage treatment plants to ensure 100% quality control
