यातायात की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए स्मार्ट सुझाव दें। इस समाधान में अभिनव डिजिटल प्रौद्योगिकी, प्रशासनिक और आर्किटेक्चरल समाधान और कार्य प्रवाह की डिजाइन का प्रयोग प्रतियोगिता में वर्णित समस्याओं को हल करने के लिए किया जा सकता है, लेकिन यह इसी तक सीमित नहीं हो सकता है। इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। प्रश्न- 1. अपने घर के बाहर यातायात से निपटने के लिए एक स्मार्ट समाधान या नवीन प्रौद्योगिकी का सुझाव दें। 2. एक मोटर गाड़ी में 4 व्यक्ति तथा एक सार्वजनिक बस में 40 व्यक्ति आराम से बैठ सकते है। एक स्मार्ट सिटी में कैसे कार और बस की जरूरतों को संतुलन किया जा सकता हैं? 3. अभिनव प्रौद्योगिकियों तथा स्मार्ट समाधान के उपयोग के माध्यम से अपने शहर में सुरक्षित और अधिक आरामदायक बस यात्रा कैसे कर सकते हैं? प्रविष्टि की समय सीमा • प्रविष्टियों को mygov.in पोर्टल द्वारा शनिवार, 20 जून, 2015 से 23.59 घंटे (11:59) पर ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है। मूल्यांकन प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन निम्नलिखित मानदंडों के आधार पर किया जाएगाः • मत क्षमता (50%) • अभिनव (50%) पुरस्कार प्रत्येक श्रेणी में दो विजेताओं को निम्नलिखित राशि के नकद पुरस्कार के साथ-साथ, स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के लॉन्च पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जून 2015 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया जाएगाः • प्रथम पुरस्कार - 40,000 रु. • द्वितीय पुरस्कार - 25,000 रु. विजेता सुझाव को कार्यान्वयन के समाधान के रूप में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के साथ साझा किया जाएगा तथा पायलट परियोजनाओं के लिए भी इस सुझाव पर विचार किया जाएगा। • इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। • प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए प्रतिभागियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियों का मुल्याकंन स्वतंत्र रूप से और योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा। एक से अधिक श्रेणी में शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग के मामले में, एक भागीदार को केवल एक श्रेणी के लिए ही पुरस्कार राशि प्राप्त होगी। • प्रत्येक उत्तर की लंबाई 250 या उससे कम शब्दों में होनी चाहिए। पुरस्कार राशि के नियम एवं शर्तें और विवरण के लिए यहां क्लिक करें

There are many accidents that are reported because of the drivers not following the rules properly.I think there can be a small control in this by letting the public have a chance to report it with the help of an application.Public people can capture an image as an evidence and upload it in the application.The application can contain vehicle number, photo upload option and a drop down list to select which rule is violated.If there is already a charged case on the present day it should be checked

i think if people be smart city will automatically smart and they will follow the rules and management of time. Bus driver should come on time and it should be like Metro train same facility should be provided to bus e.g. bus should be stopped at there respective stops not more than one inch ahead nor back.This can be done by GPS monitored Anti breaking system and which not only inform the driver but also the passenger through smart display at BUS stops.smart Road management with lane sensors.

1.Specific flyovers for traffic not entering the city,to avoid outside traffic disrupting the city specific traffic. 2.Medium cost AC mini buses touching almost all the main points of the city. 3. a.All the AC mini buses flying in the city should be under CCTV surveillance,monitered by central system. b.E-ticketing system should be introduced inside the buses like DMRC. c.A helpline phone should be installed inside the buses. d.Separate corridors for the bus stations. #MeraShaharMeraSapna

1. Install electronic-panels on all traffic-signals & launch mobile-apps displaying live-info on availability of parking-spots in city's major public-places, markets, tourist-sites 2. Enforce rule of maximum 2 cars / house & odd / even numbered cars on alternate days to encourage travel by Bus 3. Install CCTV & GPS in buses to make them safer. Launch mobile-apps to get live-info on schedule / movement of buses.

New York, Adelaide, London & Amsterdam are doing so. Why cant Indian Metros do it? It reduces pollution, it improves health of citizens, it is cheaper, more affordable, best for young and old, rich and poor. https://bicycledutch.wordpress.com/2013/03/28/amsterdam-bicycle-rush-hour/ Create high priority & invest in Cycle ways & infrastructure more than City Metro. Smart Idea to Avoid Traffic Jams: Encourage people to cycle to work, cycle for shopping, cycle for fun, instead of cars, luxury motors, bikes etc. New York, Adelaide, London & Amsterdam are doing so. 1. Total traffic updates should be updated to the internet every second,and it have to reach each people by free WiFi service. 2. All personal and public vehicles should install a "special" GPS device, that the control room can see where congestion is high. This will also be helpful to prevent unwanted incidents in public vehicles. 3. Public vehicles should be more comfortable in cheap rate, that the people of every status can choose them in spite of their personal car.

For traffic congestion we can have MOVABLE DIVIDERS,making one lane bigger than the opposite lane as per need ,based on traffic condition.mostly traffic is jam only on 1side of road and other side is free, that free side can be used by moving the divider,making the jam side road a bite bigger. THE auto,buses& car need to submit the location where they are going before they start the journey on the mobile app for transportation.which can be used by other passenger for there travelling.
