Solid Lotions Solid moisturiser bars are an amazing eco-alternative to keep your skin moisturised, hydrated and nourished. If you are wondering how they work the easiest way is to apply on wet skin after shower. I actually bring it in the shower with me and apply once I have rinsed all the soap off!  Another easy way is to melt it slighly by rubbing the bar between hands and then apply the lotion directly on the skin.

Washing Grains Finally a few years ago face scrubs containing microbeads (made of plastic) were finally banned in the UK, as they were incredibly damaging to the marine life. Why need plastic for exfoliation when natural products like this one can do an even better job at removing dead skin and toxins? Rich in bentonite clay, these washing grains are the perfect vegan face wash solution, as they open up skin pores and clean out impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils.

Plantable Greeting Cards  When it comes to Greeting cards, most people admit to throwing them away over time. But not all of them can be recycled, especially if they are decorated with glitter, plastic decorations or simply made with shiny plasticised paper. The solution? 100% eco friendly Greeting Cards made with 100% recycled paper. Wild flowers and herbs’ seeds can be embedded in the untreated paper, so these cards can be planted in pots after being gifted and turn into beautiful plants with just some sunlight, water and love!

Vegan Lip Balms No matter the temperature outside, lips are one of the most sensitive parts of the body. Drops in temperature and cold winds can make dry lips even more chapped, but the summer heat can be equally damaging, as they require an extra layer of protection and hydration. This is because the skin on lips is thinner than facial skin, so this extra protection is extremely important when the weather changes.. And you can get incredibly nurturing lip balms that are 100% plant based and vegan friendly too.

Natural Make-Up Remover A natural skincare routine cannot be complete without a natural eye makeup remover. There are so many ways to remove makeup without using lab made chemicals or plastic, and one of the best tools is to use cotton makeup pads. If coconut oil alone is not your cup of tea or you are worried it will end up clogging your water pipes, there are so many vegan and eco-friendly makeup products you can use, mostly made of oils and added vitamins to not only effectively remove any hint of makeup, but also to nourish, hydrate and protect your skin.

Facial Clay Masks Clay masks are a wonderful solution to rebalance the sebum secretion of your face. Not only that, but they are fantastic at drawing out impurities, dirt and toxins, clear the look of congested pores and gently cleansing irritated areas. 1. Always apply on clean and washed skin: otherwise you’d be applying a layer of mask on all sorts of dirt and bacteria. Using a gentle face soap and patting dry will prepare your skin for your clay mask 2. Choose a clay mask suitable for your skin type: are you prone to acne? is your skin oily or dry? Do you have sensitive skin? All clays are different, choose the one that has beneficial properties for your specific epidermis.

Natural Face Scrub I am very fussy when it comes to my face, as I have very delicate skin type so I am always looking for a face scrub for combination skin that won’t damage it resulting in outbreaks and spots, or increasing the sebum production. Natural and vegan face scrubs are my go to, and I always make sure they are packed in a glass jar I can reuse again and again, just like this tea tree natural face scrub. It is gentle yet great at detoxifying and removing dead skin cells and leave the skin glowing and healthy.

Organic Body Butter Have you ever wondered what the difference is between a body butter and a regular moisturiser? Unlike lotions or creams, body butter has a thicker consistency, similar butter, hence the name. It usually has the strongest scent and lasts longer than both lotion and creme. Body butters are usually made using a combination of carrier oils and essential butters and do not typically contain water. Carrier oils help holding and delivering the essential ingredients into the skin while butters are the essential fats and minerals extracted from natural ingredients.
