Compostable Dental Floss Because flossing removes plaque and food debris, it is essential to both keep your teeth and gums healthy as well as a fresh breath. The acid in plaque is what causes tooth decay but flossing helps to eradicate this issue. Not only that, but food bits that linger in your mouth impact how your breath smells while it breaks down. Flossing helps to clear out these unpleasant odours. And you can still care for the planet while flossing, just choose a compostable floss instead of a plastic-made one!

Mouthwash Tablets I have very sensitive gums so a good dental hygiene is really important for me, however I always struggled with the amount of plastic that oral care products used to produce in our home. Mouthwash tables come in solid tablets in a reusable glass jar with metal cap, and all you need to do is pop one in a glass of water and let it fizz away, ready to swirl in your mouth!

Natural Toothpaste Every day millions of people consume tons of toothpaste while carrying out such a mundane daily habit as brushing their teeth, yet the amount of plastic this simple act produces is truly terrifying. Worse than that, most toothpaste tubs can't even be recycled as they are made with a mix of different types of plastics. We can all put a stop to this dreadful situation by swapping to natural toothpaste packed in reusable and recyclable packaging.

Compostable Paper Tape Plastic tape. It is everywhere, from schools to packages, from supermarket supplies to boxes in the mail. Yes we all know it is a terribly polluting single-use type of plastic, that can't be recycled at all - and even worse, when we don't remove it from cardboards, these can't be recycled either. So what's the solution? Kraft paper tape! Made with Kraft paper with solvent-based self-adhesive side, it can be recycled together with all the package it comes with..yes, it can go straight into the recycling bin. Kraft paper tape is incredibly sturdy and resistant and ideal for a wide variety of uses: packaging, for craftwork and DIY projects.

Marseille Soap What if I told you that you could use the same soap for washing your body, your clothes and your dishes, among other things? Marseille soap has been made with the same soap making technique for centuries by artisanal soap workshops in the city of Marseille. Its formula is extremely rich in olive oil - at least 72%- which makes it ideal to be used as shower soap, laundry detergent, washing up soap, shaving soap and even stain remover. All in one cube of natural goodness!

Anti Stain Soap Olive oil natural soap is great at getting rid of all sorts of stains: ink, grease, tar, coffee, oil, wine, sauce, grass stains, soiled nappies, dirt stains etc. The best part of it all? I haven't used a single piece of plastic packaging for my laundry in years now! Plus it's all vegan friendly and free from preservatives!

Sisal Soap Pouch If you have been wondering what to do with all those little soap pebbles we are left with when your soap bar is so close to the end of its life the solution is a compostable soap saver! They are made with sisal fibres, which are produced using a type of agave called sisalana. Due to its soft yet strong texture, this bath soap pouch is a brilliant exfoliator. Simply put your soap bar inside, wet with water and it will create a wonderfully creamy lather and an amazing scrubbing experience to get rid of dead skin in seconds!

India has the potential to reduce its reliance on imported dairy equipment through the “Make in India” initiative.India is one of the largest producers of milk globally, but it still imports certain dairy equipment due to technological gaps and the need for advanced machinery.Government Initiatives:Challenges: Despite these efforts, there are challenges such as the need for high-quality standards, advanced technology, and skilled labor.By investing in research and development, fostering innovation, and enhancing skill development India can strengthen its domestic manufacturing capabilities. Import substitution to be made for dairy equipment production under pli scheme. Collaborations with international companies for technology transfer can also play a significant role.Overall, while it is possible for India to reduce its import of dairy equipment, it will require sustained efforts and strategic planning to achieve self-sufficiency in this sector.

Konjac Sponge If you are looking for the ultimate eco-friendly multi-purpose sponge, here it is! Konjac sponges are basically a potato from the Konnyaku plant, an Asian plant that grows at high altitudes. It’s made 97% of water, vitamins and natural minerals, as well as being naturally alkaline. All these properties give it a gentle and soft texture, and additive-free composition. When Japanese farmers first started using Konjac sponges, centuries ago, their main use was to bathe their babies because they were so soft but they are also great as facial exfoliators due to their super soft texture.
