This task requires you to identify 10 most important initiatives that centre and state governments should take to realise the PM’s vision of digital India.

There has been a flood of suggestions in response to the Prime Minister’s vision for a digital India. It is important to prioritize the ideas and come up with a practical roadmap of what can be taken up first with maximum benefit to the nation. This task will help in drawing such a roadmap.

with a simple GUI and made available for free to everyone (with help guide).This will help small retail business activities 10) To encourage Internet usage, allow SMS/Voice calls through Internet within country, in small cities/rural areas, at a subsidised rates OR free for particular period, with a limit on usage

Mobile banking services of banks after the bank verification. 6) Website listing Central repository of all educational institutes (private/state/govt) of country 7) Website (also mobile app) providing e-books/test sample papers/etc of all courses approved by AICTE/NCERT/etc for free download for all registered students. 8) 3G/4G Internet connectivity around each railway station of country 9) Accounting packages (like Tally) to be made available through a centralised website interface/mobile app

1) E-Governance at Center and State governments 2) Efficient and effective Grievances Redressal websites of State and Center govt 3) Setting of "Farmer Call center" and accessible as a menu under all telecom toll free numbers 4) Setting of " Common Services Call Center" like "Financial", "Health Care", "Education", etc, nationwide, accessible as a menu under all telecom toll free numbers 5) Central repository of Indians info like "Adhaar", to be made possible for updation using Internet Banking/

use the resources of the organisations, like railway, ntpc, other organisation which have high towers should that we can setup net towers and mobile towers on these towers and cost will be minimum

first of all setup a common call centre for India should that any complaint, information, secret information can reach to the govt and responsible agencies

I will not suggest a big step. Just a small thinking where we must start, in order to gain the public trust is to dizitize the Electoral Process. Link it with a single common data repository, which can allow a person to vote from any corner of the India. I am not talking about E-Voting, it still need a thought but i am taking about voting from anywhere in India. Even if I am at Jammu Kashmir, I must be able to vote for my candidate at Home town in Rajasthan from J&K. This must be an initiative.

9. All type of bills, call letters, receipt should be delivered online wherever possible by government, semi government, local self government, grant in aid organization and public sector organization. 10. Wide scale advertising of benefits of digital transactions through all kind of media and convince citizens to adopt the online transactions and also prove the safety of online system. 11.mobile money transfer facilities should be widely marketted and subisidized.

3. Highly secured online transaction and mobile banking 4. Making of Strict laws and forceful implementation for digital transactions. 5. All type of government state transportation, railway unreserved tickets should availablled on line. 6. All type of scholarships and grants should be paid through ecs. 7. Online shopping companies should be motivated under supervision for satisfactory service to customers. 8. No cgarges for atm transactions/payments for five years.
