Water quality monitoring: Clean & pure water is essential for all forms of life. Pure drinking water has to be made available to entire community in every city & village all over India. Large scale investment is necessary to set up water treatment plants for supply of clean and good water to all homes across every region of INDIA. Waste water also needs to be properly treated in water treatment plant and disposed of into rivers, lakes or any water body.

6. Waste to energy & fuel (waste management): All cities and towns need to implement segregation of waste and proper handling from the every house hold. All bio-degradable wastes need to be utilized for energy & fuel generation like bio gas plants and biomass/ compost for agricultural use. Waste management if done properly all over the country will lead to reduction in pollution & healthier life. This will certainly lead to greater cleanliness and our dream for a “SWATCH BHARAT” can be achieved.

Sir, when it comes to smart city it must be smart in every sense apart from technology like easy access of medical facilities to every section of society, source of power must be renewable energy only to avoid pollution. There must be equal education opportunities for every section of societies.common education leads to peace and harmony and inclusiveness. Cities must be filled with lots of trees and parks so that kids get encouraged to play there rather than spending time on Gadgets..

Hi one major proboem in india is digging of roads for that we can have big pipes under roads like usa so they can be used for outflow of dirty water laying electric telephones or any types of cable and for any repair or for laying any new cable without digging the road since pipes will be big enough so water logging will not take place on roads and even cleaning of these big pipes will b easier so we shold think of implementing this.

We don't need to make our cities as 'Smart Cities', instead we should focus on our villages and provide various facilities to them.In order to reduce gap between rich and poor, we need to upgrade our villages, not our cities.Villages are important for food grain production in India, and a large number of village population is migrating from village to cities for their needs and wants. If Government can build one 'Smart Village' against one 'Smart City', this will be a big achievement.
