Mr. Prime Minister, In order to build smarter cities, we must learn from the shortcomings of an existing A grade city- MUMBAI. Travelling and accessibility is a major problem. I believe that a city must be circular symmetric and not linear. The hub of the city:industry, work places or both, must be at the centre. Also places of art, museums, shopping malls, recreational areas, etc must be at the centre while residential complexes must be surrounding the centre symmetrically. This eases travel.

2.More traffic=More electricity, this is what Israel is doing .Piezoelectric transducers are being used to convert the force generated by heavy vehicles into electricity, they are using this technology on their highways , we can use it on toll plazas where traffic density is high and hence better output can be obtained.

First let me give an idea for geneting income from all the city with free of cost. All the city's will get garbage in tons every day. This has to be converted in to bio energy which will generate electricity. This can be sold and get money from it. Problem of garbage is solved and also we can earn money from it. For this govt can install recycle garbage machine and get the income got from it. This is the very easy and smart way for garbage solution in each and every city.
