While each smart city will have distinctive features specific to its location, demography, culture and other such factors, there maybe smart solutions to problems which are common to all cities. This contest seeks to identify such smart and innovative solutions to common problems. All questions in this category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing. Questions 1. Out of the following 21 smart solutions, select 3 solutions that should be applied to all Indian cities and provide a brief write-up (max. 50 words) to explain why. 2. Describe a ‘smart’ idea that you have seen in some other city(anywhere in the world) that you would like to see replicated in your own city. ‘Smart idea’ means doing more with less. 3. Describe 3 ways that Indian cities can reduce the gap between rich and poor. 4. List out 5 essential facts about your local municipal corporation that should be available to all citizens. Entry Deadline • Entries may be submitted online on the mygov.in portal latest by 23.59 hours (11.59 pm) on Saturday, 20th June 2015. Evaluation The submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria: • Do-ability (50%) • Innovation (50%) Award Two winners in each category will be awarded a citation from the Prime Minister at the Smart City Mission Launch on June 25th, 2015 at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi, along witha cash prize of the following amounts: • Rs. 40,000 - First PrizeRs. 25,000 - Second Prize The winning ideas would be shared with the 100 SmartCities as potentiallyimplementablesolutions and will be considered for pilot • All questions in a particular category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing. • The participants(s) entries will be judged for each category independently and on merit. In case of short listing in more than one category, a participant will receive prize money for one category only. • The length of each answer is limited to 250 words or less. Pollution is the biggest threat to mankind. Plastic and vehicle pollution should be controlled from all directions. Government should propose public transport(mandate to office employees). I work in it campus and that campus should promote campus transport to maximum locations this will lead to less pollution and bring harmony between oak the people.

Cleanliness is a habit and habit can be formed by compulsion. Involve youth as freelancer and incentivise them basis fine collection. Fine can be imposed on person littering. This way we engage youth and achieve neatness. Youths can be given ad hoc appointment as cleanliness agents.

Suggestion 1- Every with out constructed Plot holder in India can make Re-Registry before construction After 3\6 Months Why? --- Those who are rich can Invest on Plots & waiting for prices can go up. Suggestion 2 - Electronic Ration Card Need to be Introduce & Linked with Adhar + Bank Why? --- Shop keeper were misusing Suggestion 3 - External Audits need to be Plan for All the Govt Offices, Surprise Audits For Schools\Rashon Shops Etc

Smart Cities should have these 3; Sewerage Treatment plant, Garbage disposal system where the garbages are segregated into biodegradable, Recyclable & others. These wastes can be used for production of biogas, revile recycled products etc, All houses to have rain water harvesting system which can be used for cleaning, washing, gardening etc by storing in tanks under the garden with percolation system so that growing water can be recharged & every smart city houses to have solar panels.

what i feel is in smart cities there should be one no. for any kind of.help like in usa only 911 no. gives them all emergency services so we should have one common no. that can give us police,fire protection, medical help every easily
