Technology empowerment could play an important role. Farmers are now adopting a new approach to improve their yield using GPS and high res camera enabled drones. They can help in mapping the crop using high res images that show different parameters like irrigation problems, parasitic infections. These images can be taken in different spectrum. Perhaps, local govt bodies could help farmers map their crop area using this technology. Perhaps, local govt bodies could provide these maps to farmers.

Education to farmers must be focused, Advance machinery must be used for agriculture, Progress are recorded periodically.Water source in south india is too poor.No corruption between states for water. All states are one as India. If water flows to south then India will go to the top position in the world. No political presser is involved in water distribution. Only water is the main problem in south india. So take first step water then automatically grow fast. All are India(south and north) OK sir

I suggest a cooperative forming similar to a share holding pattern. where the returns can be shared on the basis of investment and land holding pattern. This can lead to a large scale farming. I strongly believe farming can be profitable if done on large scale. As there is a large possibility of mechanization and higher investment can be obtained and proper utilization of available resource. In this system even corporates can help in integration of markets avoiding the exploitation of middlemen.

i think using of android technology is a more effective and efficient to boost real time market in india. Like OLX , FLIPcart , QUICr an should be promoted by the government for online mandi rates and trades. This FARM to SHOP App will be a more transparent and simple way to expand farmers market without involving middlemen. Special training centers should be made available for training. Government can distribute their AKASH Taablet phns to the farmers so as to promote this step.
