Farmers will adapt the technology only when it will be provided in local language. No. of internet user in Rural India is increasing day-by-day and also the smartphone users. So we can provide an application which will help farmer to manage his daily jobs, his loans, whch crop will be btter to produc. Daily weather forecasting can help farmers to manage task like application of pesticides, fertilizers etc. App will give various notifications, alerts from Govt. agencies,Markets, weather dept.,Banks.

Our farmers are enthusiastic to get knowledge, technology to boost the productivity at significantly low cost. There is tremendous lacunae on marketing infrastructure, marketing intelligence, information, access and realisation of prices.Once these hurdles are taken care of they are ready to take any technological, managerial and logistic challenges. There are lot of best practices in Supply Chain Management Projects in Maharashtra which cd be role model for ICT applications for Integrated Agri Dev.

For digital connectivity the electricity and communication is must. The GOI should encourage the states that very electricty transmission lines and distribution lines must have fiber connectivity. Now the Ooptical Fiber Ground wire is also vailable which now works as earth wire also. If the transmission lines are being made by states and then GOI must fund the Ground wire part. if it is by IPP or public sector GOI should develop some mechanism.

We already have a website http://agmarknet.nic.in/ that brings latest price list to our farmers but unfortunately all our farmers do not have access to the data. I would do this task by developing an App that works on all the mobile and farmers can get the market price on their finger tips. 50% people in my family are farmers and I know that they would love to see these data on their phones. If farmer choose their state to be Gujarat then all they see inside this app it Gujarati. weather info

Promote Bio-technology, have a permanent huge LCD screen in each village, show government sponsored schemes and technologies. Educate them with latest trends in agriculture. Have competitions for better yielding, reward farmers who contribute more and the best crops. Once in a month have interactive sessions through those LCD screens and with help of local administration & officials agriculture ministry. 542 PC constituencies are there but they can be managed through only one central team.

By using internet and only internet we can give them real time information, for that we can make a new room at every primary schools or we can use existing one to establish a computer with internet, and a govt. website to give them reail time data. They can go over there and ask to the particular employ. For the govt. also it is a easy task, just they have to ask the schools or colleges to established a computer with govt. broadband.

I have proposed a solution with enhancement over existing systems like Kisan call center (already in place). The proposed solutions overcomes the language barrier due to diversity of our country. It also exposes the system to large pool of external experts. The system also aims at generating analytics that will help government in shaping the schemes and advertisements and programs
