As commented in DIGITAL INDIA POST, This can be a part of SAKSHARTA ABHYAN.... Using the Government School Network (available in almost every village in India)..... 1) Have a separate computer room for farmers helpline 2) Helping send them emails / check weather details / compare prices of crops in various parts of the countries / fill in premiums for crop insurance (gujarat has gone online already on this) 3) Connect with local agri. university

1.Make sure each state having atleast 2-3 agriculture universities/colleges. 2. Govt. should make scientist to research and make farmers aware about which crop yields in their soil in the corresponding season using traditional and scientific methods. And also govt. should make farmer as the direct retailer, should cancel all the brokerism and govt. should give a way to farmer to gain more. 3. Nowadays so many companies are there for seed production. But half of them are bluffing people. Government should certify and make people aware of the seeds without taking any bribe. 4. Government should conduct camps on traditional farming techniques to every village.(U can find in ETV Telugu Annadhatha program). 5.Government should start technical / machinery services to the farmers. 6. Government should establish more cold stores in all the districts of India where required.

I can develop such system. A system by means of which farmer can monitor various on farm parameters like temperature, moisture, humidity etc on its smart phone, PC or laptop without any distance limitation. A farmer can analyze these parameters regardless distance limitation remotely. Farmer can also control those parameters remotely like whenever humidity level decrease beyond some level, farmer can turn on irrigation system remotely regardless distance limitation.

Every state must be divided into different agricultural divisions and sub divisions where every subdivision consists of 10-12 districts and 3-4 district in each subdivision. Every division with an agriculture university and every subdivision with a college. Every college with a specialist professor for each district and some block level helpers to him completely committed to job. Every university must have a technical experts team. Every village with a internet help center.

There should be local radio and TV channels dedicated to farmers and bridging the gap between scientist and farmers . We have agriculture university in Pantnagar (Uttrakhand ) but farmers of uttrakhand have no connectivity with the scientist and lab of Pantnagar . We should bridge this gap by TV and radio station

To solve the water problem we should improve the infra structure for rain water harvesting and connection between the lakes and rivers to farmer land. The extra water during the flood will be saves thru artificial stream and lakes. We should have the common pond in every village with in a particular km and it needs to connected to farmers land
