E-Waste Se Raksha

Today, electronic waste poses a significant challenge for the society. With the introduction of innovative features and upgradation, people are changing their devices by discarding the old ones, thereby contributing in generation of electronic waste significantly. An effective collection and disposal system, as well as a recycling of end-of-life electronic devices in responsible manner is important for protecting the health and environment.

Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste is being implemented across India by MeitY to create awareness among the public about the hazards of e-waste recycling by the informal sector and educate them about alternate methods of disposing their e-waste. The programme also stresses the need for adopting environment friendly e-waste recycling practices, vis-à-vis, collection and recycling mechanism. MeitY is also promoting R&D to develop technological solutions for e-waste management in environment friendly manner.

Here, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) invites entries from citizens on the theme: Environment-friendly methods/measures for disposal and recycling of e-waste

Technical Parameters: The participant should submit the written entries with the following technical parameters:
a)PDF file format only;
b)Using Text font size 12 among font type Cambria or Times New Roman or equivalent Unicode Hindi Text
c)The Line spacing would be 1.15
d)Paper Margins allowing 1-inch margins on all four sides and justify text on both sides
e)Word limit - Maximum 3 pages as per specifications

Prizes:
1st : Rs. 15,000/-
2nd : Rs. 10,000/-
3rd : Rs. 5,000/-

Last date of submission is 13th February, 2020.

जनसंख्या वृद्धि और प्रचंड उपभोक्तावाद के कारण प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का दोहन अपने चरम पर है। और हमारे सामने पर्यावरण को बचाए रखने का महत्वपूर्ण दायित्व है। जब पूरी दुनिया ग्लोबल वार्मिंग और क्लाइमेट चेंज के मुद्दे पर एकजुट हो रही हो तब एक मनुष्य और समाज के रूप में हमारी सबसे बड़ी जिम्मेदारी प्रकृति के साथ तारतम्यता बनाकर जीना है और उसी के मुताबिक अपनी जीनशैली को ढालना है।

India a country where still a huge number peopleare living below the poverty line. They can only dream to have many electronic items or many does not know different types of product and their application. By promoting the reuse of E-watse people have choice to use it or else they get familiar with new items like electric sahver. Which will create a potential consumer for future. Respected Sir, Please see attached my suggestion on E waste management. For a Improve e-waste in our India i think only awareness requirement in society. we are working on that way India e-waste program will success.
