The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

My Vision for Pasighat as smart city Are:- 1.Pasighat should be declared as Organic city,here all; local available products are organic. 2.The tourism important must be more emphasis as with little investment pasighat can be tourist hub. 3.for immediate facilities for tourist Siang bank should be face-lit and open for tourist and recreation centre. 4.for develop pasighat ICT is as important as 24x7 water and 24x7 electricity.

Considering Pasighat as mini India,Pasighat should be select first within 20 cities even within 5 list,why?because Pasighat is and will be the only place where No Arunachalee are live in peace if pasighat is develop than everyone of every state of india are getting benefits.

Pasighat smart city can be really a smart when every individual are working for its upgradation,as i am from central india I never feel myself outsider the people of Pasighat are the real human they treat every one of us equally with love and respect.now we are also working hand in hand with indigenous puble in building pasighat as a smart city.

Pasighat could be develop as one of the most clean and green city of the world as of now not a single pollutant products are available in the city.The people of pasighat are eager to see pasighat that like switzerland,its natural scenic beauty,mighty river behind the city give more attrtaction to the city in attracting tourism.Pasighat has a record of blowing fresh wind in summer.therefore,more eco-friendly scheme should be introduce in pasighat.

Pasighat raises above all fronts in terms of road accessible connectibility, Railways, Air connectivity is on the front, citizens freindliness, surplus production of food grains and above all believer and preacher of " ATITIH DEVA BABA"
