The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

In smart city Pasighat wide main roads with good sector roads with proper drainage facility should be provided.Along the roads trees should be plantedfor the pedestrians,rain shelters should be constructed,good traffic system should be installed & cctv cameras installed in vulnerable loctions .Enough street lighting should be installed for security at night.Good roads will be the lifeline of the city.free flow of traffic will speed up economic activity and productivity.

and also facilitate in smart city Pasighat the top priority will be 24 hrs. electricity supply.adequate power supply will gear up all the economic activities and also facilitate egovernance thereby provide transparency,accountability and easy official works.so adequate power supply will be the backbone of smart city mission.
